"Universal Themes in Music" was arranged for the 2008 Arlington Heights High School Marching Band, directed by Mr. Delton Brown. During the 2008 season, the band advanced to UIL Area Competition for the first time in school history. This is a newer version with percussion parts written by Eric Rath. Also, two of the movements ("Birth" and "Love") are different selections. In these versions, "Birth" is an original composition. "Love" is Borodin's "Polyvestian Dances".
